Top 5 Sights to see at Calamigos

Being in Malibu isn’t the only perk of living here Calamigos is very elegant and aesthetically pleasing. Below is a short list of some of my favorites sights, although you may find more while exploring yourself!

1. The Carousel

The carousel is located by the Aspen House and Rose Cottages. It still functions to this day despite being decades old. If you ever get the chance to see this lit up it is truly spectacular.

2. The Ferris Wheel

The ferris wheel is located near the student pool on the outskirts of the ranch. Despite being decades old and still functioning, this ferris wheel has been featured in T.V. such as the Netflix show “You”.

3. The Waterfall

As well as being a great place to eat, the waterfall is also beautiful to look at. It flows into the lake right next to the Malibu Cafe. Another waterfall worth noting is at one of the pools. Although this pool does not have a hot tub, it has a ginormous waterfall that will bring a rainbow to the pool area whenever there is light

4. The Animals

There are many animals around the ranch including wild rabbits. Some of my favorite animals at the ranch are the horses, named Thunder and Lightning, and the cows I dubbed the names of Moolisa and Hank (Moolisa is nicer!).

5. The Vineyards

The vineyards are a beautiful place to go on a walk or hike when you’re feeling bored. The best vineyard to go walk around also contains a large waterfall flowing directly in the middle of the vines.
